Description:
Antique ring designed in a marquise silhouette, featuring one oval faceted blue sapphire set at the center and surrounded by numerous antique-cut diamonds including Old European-cut and old mine-cut.
The top setting is crafted in silver, with the base and prongs tested as 14-karat gold (unstamped, warm tone between yellow and rose). The sapphire is multi prong-set and framed by prong- and bead-set diamonds within a pierced open gallery. The shank tapers from approximately 4.0 mm to 2.3 mm and is pinched at the shoulders.
Finger size 7.25. Total weight 4.91 grams. Some diamonds contain chips. Overall good antique condition.
