  • Insurance & Field Experience

    In addition to private appraisal work, I serve as a consulting gemologist for a national contents consulting firm, working remotely and traveling throughout the United States on complex insurance claims. This work includes on-site client interviews alongside investigators, inventory documentation and loss evaluation, and reconstruction of value based on incomplete or unavailable data. This experience provides a practical, real-world foundation in loss scenarios, fraud considerations, and market-based valuation.

Services are available to attorneys and legal professionals requiring independent analysis of jewelry-related matters. Support may include expert consultation, case review, valuation analysis, and rebuttal of prior reports. Testimony and deposition services are available when required but are not the primary focus of the practice.
