23.48 Carat Natural Star Ruby GIA Certified No Heat With Ring Mount Mold
Large natural star ruby accompanied by a GIA Gemological Report, identified as natural corundum displaying asterism with no indications of heating. The ruby weighs 23.48 carats and is fashioned as an oval double cabochon displaying a strong multi-rayed star effect under direct lighting. The stone exhibits a purplish red bodycolor with semi-translucent transparency and visible natural inclusions consistent with untreated corundum.
According to the accompanying GIA report dated March 20, 2026, the ruby measures approximately 15.46 x 13.95 x 9.48 mm and origin testing was not requested. The stone displays a prominent star effect visible in various lighting conditions and has not been mounted.
Also included is a carved bezel-style men's ring mold/design originally intended for mounting the ruby into a custom ring project.
Condition: Overall condition is very good, with natural surface-reaching inclusions and abrasions consistent with untreated star rubies of this size and type.
