About Me:
I am a Graduate Gemologist (GIA), Certified Master Appraiser (NAJA), Registered Master Valuer (RMV), ASA Master Gemologist Appraiser candidate, and AGA Accredited Senior Gemologist with over 20 years of experience in the fine jewelry and watch industry. I own Devine & Co., a private jewelry office in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, where I specialize in fine jewelry, luxury watches, and professional appraisal services.
My background includes managing a high-end jewelry store in Carmel and working alongside senior appraisers in Seattle, providing extensive hands-on experience with diamonds, colored stones, estate jewelry, and market valuation. I regularly work within both retail and secondary markets, including insurance and estate-related assignments where accurate, real-world pricing is essential.
From time to time, I come across unique diamonds and fine jewelry through private clients, estate evaluations, and consignment opportunities. Many of the pieces I offer are sourced directly from individuals rather than traditional retail channels, often representing items no longer available in stores or stones with distinct characteristics not commonly found in today’s market.
