Description:
Crafted in 18-karat white gold, this ring contains one oval cabochon natural emerald weighing 4.63 carats, surrounded by a halo of round brilliant cut diamonds and mounted on an open split pave-set shank. The emerald is accompanied by a C. Dunaigre Switzerland gemstone report #CDC 1501433 dated February 2, 2015.
Per the Dunaigre report, the emerald is identified as natural beryl (emerald) from Colombia, oval cabochon, transparent, and described as having an intense green color. The report notes indications of minor clarity enhancement, which is standard for emerald. The document also references approximately 0.85 carats of surrounding diamonds accenting the mounting.
The surrounding diamonds are graded G–H color and SI clarity and continue along the split shank, creating an open gallery that allows light to enter beneath the emerald and intensify its color and presence on the hand.
The ring weighs 8.77 grams and is a finger size 6.5.
