My journey began at a young age, evolving into a formidable twenty-year career as I apprenticed under skilled goldsmiths and professionals in Seattle, Washington. In 2014, I returned to my beloved home state of California, realizing my dream of residing in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Embracing a full-time management and Gemologist role in downtown Carmel, my mission is to share my extensive experience, knowledge, and fervor for crafting unique jewelry across the state.

Driven by a commitment to foster personal relationships and transparency in the industry, I launched Devine & Co. Being a native Californian, deeply steeped in the world of classically trained jewelry professionals, I infuse my work with a meticulous, sincere, and client-centric approach. My extensive training includes studying under respected appraisers and jewelers along the west coast and completing courses with the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). In 2024, I became a Certified Master Appraiser through the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers (NAJA). In 2025, I joined the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) as a Candidate and became USPAP certified. Over the years, I have cultivated relationships with trusted gemologists and bench-jewelers who share a like-minded commitment to quality.
I have proudly delivered professional jewelry appraisals across the Monterey and Seattle areas. My commitment lies in providing clients with thoroughly researched, detailed reports, accompanied by a professional valuation option. Graduating with a Graduate Gemologist Certificate from the Gemological Institute of America, I have consistently expanded my expertise in gemology and jewelry appraising through ongoing education, GIA Alumni chapter meetings, and membership with the International Gem Society (IGS). Staying attuned to market changes, I subscribe to Gemstone and Diamond magazines, and diligently follow price guides.
Embracing the belief that "old-fashioned" can be timeless, and "modern" can still evoke romance, I specialize in meticulously selecting gemstones, incorporating thoughtful details, and crafting personalized settings. My focus revolves around the art of custom design, reimagining existing jewelry, and curating unique selections tailored to each client. The goal is to fashion pieces seamlessly integrated into your lifestyle, effortlessly transitioning from day to night and easily mixed and matched.
My passion lies in unique colored stones, diamonds, exceptional bridal pieces, Art Deco vintage jewelry, and elongated shapes. Each design is carefully crafted for everyday wear, seamlessly transitioning from casual moments to special occasions, or simply for the joy of self-expression. I blend classic elegance with a modern edge, allowing my pieces to effortlessly complement casual outfits or stand out in more formal settings. My creations are designed for durability, style, and versatility, perfect for stacking and layering alongside cherished heirlooms.
